What's the Difference Between Tires
There are some big differences between the
different types of tires available for you to invest in. All of them have their
own benefits associated with investing. Depending on what you need, and what
your driving experience looks like, any of them could be a good
investment.
All Season Tires
These tires, as their name would suggest, are
for all all types of weather. They are prepared for day-to-day travel, for all
types of weather circumstances. Whether you are on the highway or backroads, or
you're driving through rain or under sunshine, these tires will get the job
done. The only thing type of weather they are not designed for is heavy snow in
winter.
Winter Tires
Again, their name gives you an insight into what
they're designed for. Winter tires are made with a special type of rubber,
which remains flexible even in freezing temperatures. These tires also have
hundreds of tiny slits, which help you gain traction when driving over packed
snow and ice.
Summer Tires/Performance Tires
Summer tires, also known as performance tires,
are designed for speed, versatility, and lightweight performance. They are not
made for winter, nor are they really made for other types of weather
circumstances. However, for summer driving they can be a good match for certain
vehicles.
