Performance
Under the hood of the 2021 Hyundai Palisade is a
291-horsepower 3.8-liter direct-injected V6 engine that is paired with an
eight-speed transmission. The result is loads of acceleration ability and a
smooth ride. It's also handy for towing ability; Hyundai claims that the
Palisade can tow up to 5,000 pounds. due to its muscular powertrain. For better
handling on slippery surfaces, go for the optional all-wheel drive option.
Interior
The Hyundai Palisade is one of the most spacious
vehicles in the midsize SUV class. It offers three rows of seats to accommodate
up to eight people, with the option of a seven-person configuration by swapping
the bench-style seat with a pair of captain's seats. Standard cargo space is
measured at 18 cubic feet, although you can fold down the third-row seats for
expansion to 45.8 cubic feet or both second- and third-row seats for a maximum
of 86.4 cubic feet.
All-New Calligraphy Trim
While the previous model year presented the
SE, SEL, and Limited
as the Palisade's trim lineup, 2021 welcomes the Calligraphy
as the top-level model. Consequently, it is the only trim with standard
all-wheel drive, as well as a distinctive grille and bumpers, quilted leather
door panels, and trim-exclusive 20-inch alloy wheels.
